1. First Burn is the Most Important
Allow the wax to melt fully across the surface on the first burn (usually 2 - 3 hours). This prevents tunneling and helps your candle burn evenly in future uses.
2. Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to about 5mm. A trimmed wick prevents soot, ensures a steady flame, and extends the life of your candle.
3. Burn Time
Burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. This maintains the integrity of the wax and fragrance, and prevents overheating.
4. Burn Safely
Always place your candle on a heat-resistant, level surface.
Keep away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
5. Extinguish Properly
Use a snuffer to extinguish your candle. Blowing it out can cause hot wax to splatter and the wick to smoke.
6. Storage
Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This protects the fragrance and prevents discolouration.
7. Recycle or Reuse
Once your candle is finished, repurpose the jar for storage, decor, or as a keepsake. Our vessels are designed to be as enduring as they are beautiful.
